technology systems were built recently from the newest state-of-the-art
components. All of the technology systems are under the exclusive
control of Born Capital staff.
Technology Built for TradersBorn's systems were built solely for electronic trading; unlike others,
where systems were retro-fitted onto older, archaic networks,
originally built for office communications. Born's networks and servers
have the capacity, speed and resilience that will exceed
expectations for trading.
Constant Monitoring and a Proactive Approach
In addition to Born's fully staffed 24-hour operation supervising the
technology systems, Born has developed proprietary automated monitoring
systems which analyze all systems and sub-systems 24 hours per
day, 365 days per year. These automated systems are proactive in
nature, allowing Born to resolve issues before they ever impact the
customer - providing the maximum reliability, uptime and speed that the client
deserves.
A Titanium FoundationBorn Capital's technology is located in a facility that sets the standard for
world-class premium technology co-location. This facility is shared by
AT&T, Google, Yahoo, IBM, Level3, Sprint, General Electric, and
many others. Eurex, CBOT, Liffe and Euronext have recently placed
technology installations into the facility, putting Born's systems mere
feet away from the exchanges.
Our facility features N+1 Redundancy for all
sub-systems:
Power: Power is
provided on dual, independent buses and is backed up by Battery, UPS,
and Diesel Generators
HVAC: Comprehensive system
with N+1 redundancy ensuring appropriate airflow, temperature and
humidity
Fire Suppression:
State-of-the-art dual-alarmed, dual-interlock multi-zoned, dry-pipe,
water-based fire suppression system. Fire suppression is localized at
the event point only
Cable Distribution: Separate
trays for all disparate cabling including fiber, copper and power
Security: On-site security
is provided 24 x 7 x 365 by Securitas / Pinkerton. Five (5) biometric
hand-scans, including password, are required to access the equipment.
CCTV Digital Camera covers the entire data center,
including the cages, with all footage archived. Born has the technology
and the experience, but most importantly Born Capital has a commitment to
